Just seen this film at the cinema and it was absolutly awesome.
It was a bit 28 weeks later - A virus has affected all the citizens of NYC and there is just one man and his dog left. The virus turns everyone into zombi type people that are totally aggressive and eat each other. He is a scientist that believes that he can find a cure.
The film was full on from the first moment. I laughed and jumped and most of all cried through that whole thing. Will Smiths acting was phenomonal.
It's a really emotionally draining film I left the cinema in tears wanting to sleep fior a week. But its a wonderful work of art.
There is a horrible scene with the dog, but I will let you discover that for yourselves.
I havn't seen a film that has touched me like that in years.

Sorry. Have seen this and also the original, "Omega Man." This is just a poor substitute for the first one. Charlton Heston, vs Will smith...
It was done first by Charlton heston, so anything else is just "copy."
If your gonna put a film out, at least try to be original...
I have heard that the yanks are gonna do a remake of "The Damb Busters." Starring the B52s. Oh how they love to change history... They keep doing remakes of good films that were put out by studios such as Ealing etc. They never seem to get it right though. "The Italian Job." is one such film. It was done better ages before some "Yank." decided he could do it better. And as for other films like "Thunderbirds." If Johnathan Frakes had actually watched any of the Thunderbirds episodes, he might have at least had an idea about what he was trying to make... He actually made a film that was a total flop.... Yanks don't always get it right!!!
