Charlie Wilson's War

As requested, my opinions on this film.

For those who havent heard of it, here's the trailer.

Well. I am not that good at giving in-depth reviews, but I'll try. This is based on the true story of Congressman Charlie Wilson, played by Tom Hanks, who is excellent in the role. Julia Roberts also stars. This isn't the kind of thing I usually go for, I like comedy and horror as a rule, but I did enjoy this as the dialogue was well written and engaging and it was an interesting account of a period in recent history. I am glad that I saw it, I would not have bothered to be perfectly honest, but a friend of mine wanted to go. Just goes to show, I should broaden my horizons a little now and again!

Didn't realise that it was a Mike Nichols film.
