I have never been a fan. Don't hate them, just indifferent.

Of course, when I studied media studies, way back in the day, one of the modules was on Bond and Political correctness. I guess after analysing anything to that extent your enjoyment of it is never the same.

i take it you are refering to the "women need a good slap every now and again" quotation-i was unaware that this was based on his married life, i thought that it was just an ill-advised and irresponsible remark that h probably regretted saying

Anyway, back to the films themselves. I've quite enjoyed them over the years but they tend to lose their excitement when you know exactly what's going to happen. Still and all, good escapism and that's about all they are.
