Not seen the last week as skiing takes priority so can't comment on who should have won but Masterchef was filmed last summer. According to the internet Emily is currently reading English at Oxford University so I suspect a deal was done to allow her to complete her education before embarking on a a career in catering. After all I don't think Masterchef could survive another Peter/Thomasina type winner (One year later what are they doing in the industry? Answer writing recipie books).

They all did very well and I think the best man did win it Those restaurants looked amazing in France but 500 quid for a three course meal If Oxford uni wasn't on the horizon then maybe Emily would have snook in there. She is a very inventive young lady
