Not a good career move by Nicholas de Lacey-Brown to suggest other contestants are uneducated football supporters whilst sitting in Sir Alan's Boardroom.

Hmm- quite right, I believe he truly shot himself in the foot.

What a twit to add that de Lacy to his name!

I quite enjoyed it.

As for Raef, he is brilliant, I just love the way he speaks. He is a complete twonk, but excellent entertainment

I only saw the very beginning last night - I'm not the biggest fan of it until the end! What nearly made me sick though was Alan saying something like "sod the money, the real prize is getting to work with me".

Ppplease.

oh hear we go
the first bit of dirt on one of the candidates
the bit about the part time radio work and his comments about Sir Alan could lead one to believe he doesn't win the series

I think it was recorded last Autumn time (ish) but they are all sworn to secrecy until after it has been screened.

Well I watched my first episode of this series last night and from the clips at the start I correctly predicted the outcome.

To me it has become a formulaic entertainment show, well cast and edited. It has little basis in reality but the BBC obviously don't think that's important. Clever cast directing and cutting means we see what the producers want us to see. Clearly the contestants are manipulated by being asked leading questions into saying some of the more contentious comments. As I said before I think I'll give it a miss for a few weeks while the producers flush the 'Big Brotheritis' from their systems by choosing to focus on the more flambouyant contestants and rejoin when those with talent come to the fore. Lets face it anybody on that show with any brains will keep their heads down and their powder dry while they suss out the game and the opposition and let the deadheads draw fire onto themselves, 'A wise man walks with his head bowed grasshopper'. The trick at this stage is simple be a team player don't attract attention and avoid board room.

On the whole reasonable entertainment, in a BB sort of way, with only a passing resemblence to business reality.
