Default Your first record

What's the first record (or CD) you ever bought.

Mine was Highway by Free I was 13 or so and the album (I never bought singles) I remember cost £1.25 I had to save my pocket money for weeks to afford it then played it to death on my sisters record player.

Mine was Like a Virgin by Madonna!

I was in primary school so it was hardly appropriate. It amuses me now how much I used to love madge, would cheefully slap her if I saw her today!

My first record that I bought was an LP- long player, The Carpenters, 'Now And Then.'

I adored Karen Carpenter. The inside covers had pictures of the siblings. The pull out cover of the LP had Karen and her brother driving through Californian suburbs in my then totally and absolutely favourite car- a gorgeous looking machine which was the Ferrari 365 GTB/4, best known as the Ferrari Daytona.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, you bought the album for the picture of a car. Thankfully I didn't buy Clapton's Slowhand because it hand a picture of his wrecked Lambo on the inside!

Besides the plexiglass headlamp covers ruin the looks of front of the 265. The 206 looks much better
