Default TV Game Shows.

Someone recently mentioned that game show from back in the 1970s (?) The Golden Shot- 'Bernie, the bolt'.

What shows do you remember?

One of my first would be the one with Hughie Green, he of the awful fake mid Atlantic accent, and they had a 'Yes / No' interlude where you had to answer questions without using those words.

What the heck was it? 'Double Your Money' I think.

Then there was the one with smooth talking Michael Miles, but my memory is very hazy about that!

So Come On Down and tell us what you recall.

Michael Miles did 'Take your Pick'. I think that is what it was called. Yes I remember the Golden Shot, went to see it once when I was a kid.

I'm sure others will come to me in time!

1-2-3 Ted Rogers and Dusty bin with the incompehensible clues more like Nostrodamu Quatrains than any help whatsoever!

Surpassed by the stupidity of the contestants. viz

Rogers: "This is a composer. German by birth, English by adoption. Best known for an oratorio published in 1741. It was called Messiah. You're bound to know his handle."

Female contestant: "Oh God, I used to have it at school... Handel's Water Music..."

Rogers: "So who's the composer?"

Female contestant: "Schubert?"

Rogers: (shrugs shoulders and turns to other team) "So I can offer it to you."

Male contestant: "Beethoven?"
