Another roadie bike series but I love the way they are always either falling into deep ruts, ploughing through rivers, grinding into sand or breaking down. While the scenery is fantastic it is more a backdrop to their troubles. But they do meet interesting "normal" people. I would have to draw the line at a meal of sheep's balls, however.

The Mongolian footage is super...I never realised there was so much ...nothing!

Is this a repeat of the series Pea? I'm pretty sure I've already seen it and it was very interesting stuff.

Yes it was on Sky a couple of years ago. Also they've recently done a similar trip through Africa.

I've seen a couple of episodes which were quite good but I don't watch that much TV anymore

Yes it may be a repeat. Some of the dates on things I have noticed say 2004, but I have only been back in the UK since 2005 so it's news to me!!!
Africa would be fascinating!!!! I hope they air it soon...

Ah it was the Africa one I saw! Might try and catch these episodes then.
