They do seem to favour people with a tragic back story.

I think X Factor makes hilarious and addictive viewing but I have to say once it's over I dread hearing the majority of the winners on the radio.

Did anyone see poor Scott get booted out on Saturday. He knew and the rest of the world knew that as soon as he was in the 'sing-off' against "Daniel 'my wife died in childbirth' Evans" he stood no chance. No-one has a backgound story to top that.

Why are we putting ourselves through it? Why not let Daniel record the Christmas number 1 now, hold back it's release until the week before Christmas...and save ourselve several torturous weeks?

The sob stories are being brought out early this year aren't they. Strange how every year this show seems to attract more than its fair share of tortured souls.

Alexanrdra Burke won. For me the right person won. I like various of the other acts (particularly Diana and JLS) but the right act won IMO.

Seeing Alexandra with Beyonce confirmed it all the more.

sad to say, we normally watch every single episode and my tip to win it was Diana and obviously that all went west last weekend-watching it last night, i could not understand how Eoghan and JLS made the final three as he cannot sing and they destroy every song by the key change at the end-why do people do that?

Alexandra clinched it when Beyonce joined her-there was only one winner after that

but i think we all know that the only reason for watching this is for the auditions-now that is real entertainment
