Only 400 complaints? That's small beans for the BBC these days

I quite liked the irreverence of the first series of Little Britain but series upon series it has just been downhill. I never thought for one minute it would appeal to the US but hey that's where the money is and the BBC try to peddle every successful UK show there just to make money. I saw a programme a couple of months ago where a couple of American stand-up comics looked at the 'Computer says No' sketch and thought that the joke was that the customer didn't deck the receptionist.

Anyway they kicked a friend of mine off 'Last comic Standing' so they can't understand humour can they?

Mrs J and I watched the first episode of this Little Britain USA and turned off after about fifteen minutes and haven't seen it since, so make your own conclusions.

British comedy seems to be a contradiction in words these days.

I must admit that I don't watch it - I started to watch the first of the series and really disliked the humour (humor?). So I turned over and haven't been interested since.

British comedy has IMO always been the best in the world, but then I would say that

However, taking something British, relatively edgey, sticking "US" in the title and using a few American actors & settings was never going to work for me. Complaints from US viewers about Little Britain are not surprising.

Little Britain peaked at series 2. Anything after that seems to be simply milking the brand with increasingly unimaginative sketches.
