Isn't he hosting the BAFTAs?

There's a recipe for disaster.

i have posted on a previous thread here that i always prefered listening to Jonathon Ross on Radio 2 where he could be quite amusing and i now find it ironic that it was on the radio where he landed himself in all kinds of trouble

i always found him to be totally different on television and really annoying and embarassing

anyway if you or i did what he did that landed him in hot water, we would be facing a criminal record-once again, one law for so-called celebrities and one law for us

he should have resigned and maybe he would have gained some respect, but instead he decided to accept a temporary ban in the knowledge that he would once again be on our screens raking in the cash-this is wrong

I agree with all you say dave and gopher.

Actually I found him incisive and intellegent quite often on Film 2008, or whatever year it was.

His immaturity and arrogance at other times are so annoying. I don't know what message is being sent out putting him on the BAFTAs.

I feel there is becoming a backlash against highly paid people, especially if that money comes from the licence fee and especially if they abuse their position in the public eye.

Had it not been for a TV career going back more than 20 years with proven viewing figures then I feel he would never have returned.

Personally I don't mind him returning to his Friday night slot because I believe the show rests on the quality of the guests rather than just Ross himself. His sense of humour whilst not always to my liking is generally harmless. He should not have done what he did with Russell Brand but what happened has happened.

I have never seen his programme other than the odd few seconds when changing channels...and his radio prog was cue to turn off the radio. I find him totally irritating; to be avoided at all costs.

It makes you realize just how good Michael Parkinson was at his job.
