Well he doesn't care about his people, so maybe it depends on how long he can pay his army, and they don't starve.

I can't believe that this hasn't already happened. I'm also surprised with his anti colonial stance that he hasn't told us what to do with it. Arrogance and Power! not good traits.

For someone who doesn't like Britain he treasures his knighthood apparently and wears it at every given opportunity. I suppose as some kind of derogatory action but it means nothing now.

As they said on the news last night it's not a case any more of if it will happen but when and what damage he can do in that time.

Basically South Africa need to cut him off as Zimbabwe will soon fall to it's knees without the economical support. Shame on Mbeke for not doing anything sooner.

Don't start me on things 'honorary'. What did he every do for the World, let alone the UK to merit it? As far as I'm concerned they are all meaningless so who is going to miss his when it's been taken away away from him? certainly no him or me.

I'm afraid this, like 'honorary' Degrees and Doctorates, erodes the efforts of those of us who worked bloody hard over a large number of years to earn them. Jeremy Clarkson Doctor of Engineering? Sorry just wet myself laughing! He was expelled from Repton with no qualifications!

On the contrary I believe it will mean a lot to him which is why it has been done.

However I do agree with you on the honourary front - seems pointless to me.
