While I agree that any examination which is purely based on memory is pointless (you can look up equations, dates and quotes) at Advanced level it is important that the questions should test mental dexterity i.e can you take a fact analyse, manipulate and combine to develop another.
So while I feel it's fine to look up the exact wording of something like Miranda's speech to Caliban on the net, I suspect it will actually be used to copy somebody else's critique and pass it off as your own work.
Children are brilliant at this sort of thing, they always find the method of solving problems which require the least work.
