Thanks Selkie.

I reckon if NOLA got hit badly by Gustav or any other then it would such a hit to the city that it would be hard to recover. Who would want to invest there?

It didn't hit badly, but they have to sort out the levees and other defences.

it is lives that are the cost in anything like this, lives can't be replaced......though i understand obviously living conditions after such a thing need money invested
