Default Palin "Abused Power"

Sarah Palin abused her power as Alaskan governer according to a report by a bipartisan Alaska legislative panel. The saga involves what on the face of it seems a relatively petty case of getting her ex brother-in-law removed from his state job after a messy divorce from her sister. When her ex brother-in-laws boss wouldn't do as asked he got the sack instead

This surprises and concerns me. Is a person who would be so vindictive the kind of person that should weild power up to and possibly including the launch button?

Also, the defence from her lawyer is concerning. Not that she didn't do it, but that to violate the ethics law she has to have personally gained somehow. Well, he's right there, she certainly can't have can she?

Such muck in politics is depressing

At least she doesn't read the papers

It would be worrying is she were VP and McCain were taken ill or worse.

Seems he chose her to dilute the novelty of a black opponent rather than one actually capable of doing the job- like Cheaney.
